Hi, I’m Lillie…

I am a Mum of 3 girls and fiancee to Kieran and dog Mum to Alfie! And this is my blog, a space where I like to share recipes and just general chat from inside my head.

I am a professionally trained Chef and have worked as a Chef for nearly 16 years (god that makes me feel SO OLD!), I decided to go self employed nearly 2 years ago and love being able to still create food at home and feed people in a very different way, as well as content creating and working with brands that I love.

AD| Green and Black’s Velvet Edition

When it comes to paid partnerships, I have to say working with a chocolate brand I LOVE has to be up there with blog collaboration goals. When they asked if I would like to try their new Velvet Edition range, I jumped at the chance. A range of 7 different chocolate bars, with 7 different and very delicious, flavours.

AD | Buying Our Second Home

When it comes to buying houses and mortgages, I honestly relate that back to a time of such stress and turmoil. Whilst I now sit in the armchair of our recently finished extension, I can’t help but pinch myself and wish I could go back and tell myself at the time of buying this place, that it wouldn’t fall through, that it would all be ok.

Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Gnocchi

It feels like a VERY long time since I wrote a recipe blog so this feels weeiirrd BUT I think this recipe would be a lot easier to follow this way and to refer back to aswell! This recipe is inspired by Slimming Eats Slow Cooker Crack Chicken which I will link here which is amazing and we have had before with Pasta or Rice.

Potato Dauphinoise

Possibly the next best way to eat a Potato after a Roasted Potato is Potato Dauphinoise. Garlic, Cream and Cheese… need I say anymore.

We had them with Roast Beef, Veg and Gravy… then I chucked the leftovers into a soup I was making which was also DELIGHTFUL.
