Good Life Meals

I was asked to review two new ready meals from Good Life Foods so here is what I thought along with some info on them and of course some photies!

Now let’s start by saying I tend to steer clear of ready meals, mainly because of all the additives and because I just don’t actually think they taste that nice… when you cook for a living it’s pretty easy to rustle something up in a hurry but I feel like when I’m trying to eat well I’m constantly washing up or cooking which can have its downsides when you have two little humans to feed and look after as well as yourself!!

When Good Life got in touch I was instantly interested mainly because the meals contain no artificial additives and no artificial preservatives. I loved that the meals came with Cauliflower Rice and looking at the ingredients list for both meals, well it’s about as clean as it gets when it comes to ready meals.

The two new meals are the 3 Bean Chilli with Cauliflower Rice and Vegetable Masala with Cauliflower Rice.

They are both Gluten Free and suitable for Veggies and Vegans, and the 3 Bean Chilli is also Dairy Free. None of that applys to me but useful info if it applys to you!

Here are some photos of the packaging if you are interested in the full list of ingredients.

The meals come frozen and can be cooked from frozen in 8 minutes, no fuss or washing up which is just bloody lovely.

I thought both meals were tasty but preferred the Chilli and found it more filling which makes sense as it is high in protein.

I know that the meals are stocked in Morrisons but you can see a full list of stockists here.

I have a feeling I will be stocking up on these for when we are in the midst of moving house just to make life a bit easier!

Let me know if you try them and what you think!
